BCSI is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators to join our team immediately. We are looking for motivated, safety-focused professionals with 2–3+ years of experience operating a variety of heavy construction equipment in oil and gas or commercial construction environments.
Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently operate heavy equipment, including motor graders, backhoes, front-end loaders, excavators, compactors, and other construction and earthmoving equipment.
- Perform excavation, trenching, grading, compaction, hauling, site preparation, and other construction activities.
- Maneuver heavy equipment to accurately remove, move, and place soil, rock, debris, and other materials.
- Load and unload materials as required to support project operations.
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform routine equipment care.
- Follow project plans, specifications, and all company safety policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2–3 years of heavy equipment operating experience.
- Experience in oil and gas or commercial construction is preferred.
- Demonstrated experience with excavation, trenching, compaction, grading, and operating multiple types of heavy equipment with various control systems.
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced construction environment and in varying weather conditions.
- Must possess and maintain a valid Class C California driver’s license with an acceptable driving record; Class A driver’s license preferred but not required.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and teamwork skills.
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel as required.
Physical Demands and Work Environments:
Some travel from site to site; exposure to noise, dust, grease, smoke, fumes, noxious odors, gases, and all types of weather and temperature conditions; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces and rough terrain; may be required to work extended hours including some evenings and weekends.
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour (DOE)
