San Jose Municipal features a high-traffic driving range equipped with a lighted double-deck that includes 60 hitting stations and two teaching bays. We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Event Manager to join our team!
As the Event Manager, you will be the driving force behind the planning, coordination, and execution of events at our driving range. This role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer experiences while also providing support in food and beverage services and overall golf operations. You will collaborate with various teams to create seamless events that highlight our facilities and services.
Essential Responsibilities:
-Plan and execute a diverse range of public, corporate, and private events at the driving range and associated facilities.
-Collaborate with clients to understand their event objectives and provide tailored solutions.
- Manage event logistics, including setup, breakdown, staffing, and ensuring all details align with client expectations.
-Coordinate with food and beverage services to enhance event offerings and ensure positive dining experiences during events.
-Oversee reservations for community and outdoor patio events, maintaining a flexible and responsive approach to guests’ needs.
-Promote events through various marketing channels to maximize attendance and engagement.
-Maintain communication with vendors and community partners to ensure successful collaborations and event execution.
-Support golf operations by assisting with course setup, special golf events, and facilitating smooth daily operations during scheduled events.
-Ensure compliance with health, safety, and venue regulations during events.
-Provide exceptional customer service to enhance guest experiences before, during, and after events.
Qualifications:
-Proven experience in event planning, management, or a related field is preferred.
-Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
-Ability to multitask and effectively manage high-pressure situations.
-Basic knowledge of food and beverage services, and familiarity with golf operations is a plus.
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
-Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
-A passion for golf and community engagement is highly desirable.
