Toyotalift of Arizona is seeking a dependable, hardworking individual to join our material handling team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced position that combines warehouse operations, deliveries, and installation work. Daily responsibilities will vary based on customer deliveries, warehouse needs, and installation schedules.
Responsibilities
- Pull pallet rack and material handling orders from warehouse inventory, including stacking, banding, and preparing materials for shipment.
- Load customer will-call orders and prepare materials for pickup.
- Receive new material from manufacturers, unload deliveries, and properly put away inventory.
- Maintain an organized warehouse and assist with periodic inventory counts.
- Identify and report inventory discrepancies.
- Deliver materials using a company truck and trailer. A valid driver's license is required.
- Load, unload, deliver, and pick up rental equipment used for customer installations.
- Assist installation crews with pallet rack, shelving, mezzanines, dock equipment, and other material handling systems.
- Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and other equipment as required.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and trailers.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse, truck, equipment, and jobsite.
- Follow company safety procedures and use proper personal protective equipment.
Qualifications
- Dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
- Comfortable performing physical, hands-on work in a warehouse and jobsite environment.
- Ability to regularly lift, carry, and handle materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable loading, unloading, stacking, and moving materials.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Warehouse, delivery, construction, mechanical, or installation experience is a plus, but not required.
- Forklift and trailer experience are a plus.
- Willingness to learn new skills and work in different areas of the business.
Schedule
Work hours will vary depending on deliveries, warehouse requirements, and installation schedules. Start times may range from approximately 6:00 AM to 5:00 PM, depending on the day's schedule. Flexibility is required.
Occasional early starts, extended days, or schedule changes may be necessary to meet customer and project requirements.
