Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional service to our customers while managing various sales and inventory tasks. Responsibilities
- Assist all customers (retail and shop) in selecting the required parts
- Inform customers of companion parts and specials to ensure proper knowledge and exposure of the full product line.
- Answer and assist with calls from customers to ensure accurate price quotes
- Review body shop estimates to ensure accurate parts are being ordered per estimate specs
- Assist with front desk duties like taking payments and set up daily shipment orders.
- Daily inventory control on parts and making sure the manager is informed of any out-of-stock items
- Ability to search for and order out-of-stock parts in emergencies
- Strong ability to maintain open communication with customers, service advisors, and shop personnel on daily projects to ensure smooth operations
- Stocking and replenishing assigned inventory
- Responsible for preparing proper billing on service repair orders
- Assist the manager with the lost sales tracking program
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills / Bilingual a plus
- 1-2 years of automotive parts experience required, either from a retail parts outlet or dealership
- Basic understanding of automotive components and systems
- Ability to learn and train in a fast-paced work environment
- Cataloging and Inventory Management
- High school grad or GED Certificate
- Valid DL

Compensation and Scheduling
- $38,000 -44,000 per hour
- Monday – Friday w/ Rotating Saturdays
