On-Call Security Guard – Oahu
Pay: $28.00 per hour

Hawaii Detective & Guard is seeking professional and dependable On-Call Security Guards to join our team on Oahu. This position is ideal for experienced security professionals looking for flexible, supplemental work opportunities.
Assignments will vary and may include commercial properties, residential communities, construction sites, schools, events, patrol services, and emergency coverage. Shifts, locations, and hours will change based on operational needs. Candidates must be reliable and able to respond to assignments on short notice.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of prior security experience required
- Active Hawaii Guard Card required
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel throughout Oahu
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong communication and report writing skills
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to work day, swing, overnight, weekends, and holiday shifts as needed
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Background check required
Duties
- Patrol assigned properties and monitor for suspicious activity
- Maintain a visible security presence
- Complete incident reports and daily activity reports
- Respond to disturbances, emergencies, and client concerns
- Enforce property rules and procedures
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, and emergency services
Schedule
- On-call / as needed
- Random shifts and locations throughout Oahu
- Day, swing, and overnight shifts available
Pay
- $28.00 per hour paid weekly
