Overview
We are looking for motivated and skilled Experienced Apprentice or Journeyman Electricians to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of electrical systems across commercial and industrial projects. Your expertise will ensure that all work complies with safety standards, local electrical codes, and industry best practices.
Duties
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, including high-voltage wiring and low-voltage systems.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to guide installation and troubleshooting processes.
- Conduct electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and troubleshoot complex electrical systems efficiently.
- Follow all electrical safety procedures in accordance with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association code) and NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to complete wiring tasks accurately and safely.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring work on industrial equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites, renovation projects, and new installations to ensure timely project completion.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an electrician with a background in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
- Knowledge of NFPA 70 compliance, NEC standards, and local electrical codes.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and schematics accurately.
- Experience troubleshooting electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters.
- Skilled in installing high-voltage wiring and working with industrial electrical systems.
- Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and low-voltage systems is a plus.
- Construction site experience with the ability to adapt to various project environments including renovation work.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
- Handyman skills or frame carpentry experience are advantageous for versatile project support.
