Your Schedule:
- Shift: Saturday and Sunday, 8:00 PM to 4:00 AM
- Additional Shifts: Opportunities for additional hours may become available based on business needs.
- Flexible Availability: Open availability to pick up additional shifts is a plus.
A Day in Your Life:
- Vehicle Patrols: Conduct thorough patrols to deter criminal activity and ensure the safety of assigned properties.
- Monitor Safety: Help maintain a safe and secure environment for clients, residents, and visitors.
- Respond to Alarms: Quickly investigate disturbances and respond to alarms or suspicious activity.
- Report Writing: Complete accurate and detailed electronic reports on incidents and observations.
- Surveillance Mastery: Use technology and keen observation skills to identify and report unusual activity.
- Positive Engagement: Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional presence.
- Collaborate: Work seamlessly with law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary.

- Licensed: Applicants with an active Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer License are strongly preferred. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing and able to obtain their DCJS license before their start date.
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Skills: Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- DCJS License: Active Virginia DCJS Unarmed Security Officer License preferred. Applicants without an active license must be able to complete the licensing process before beginning employment.
- Background Check: Must successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Driving Requirements: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to sit, stand, drive, and walk for up to 8-hour shifts while conducting patrols indoors and outdoors.
