Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Full Time Hourly Boutique Manager to lead our store operations with enthusiasm and professionalism. In this role, you will oversee daily store activities, manage a dynamic sales team, and ensure an exceptional shopping experience for our customers. Your leadership will drive sales growth, maintain inventory accuracy, and foster a positive team environment that reflects our brand’s values.
Duties
- Lead and motivate the retail sales team through effective training, coaching, and performance management.
- Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS system oversight.
- Oversee inventory management, stock replenishment, merchandising, and pricing strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
- Conduct hiring interviews, employee orientation sessions, and ongoing training to develop team skills.
- Implement operational policies related to payroll, bookkeeping, budgeting, and inventory control to ensure smooth store functioning.
- Maintain excellent customer service standards by addressing customer inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Supervise shift schedules, monitor sales performance metrics, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the retail industry, particularly in sales team supervision and store operations.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, and training & development.
- Proficiency with POS systems, inventory management software, and basic math for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Excellent communication skills in a bilingual or multilingual environment preferred; ability to connect with diverse customers and team members.
- Demonstrated leadership in operational management including budgeting, merchandising, stock control, and sales management.
- Experience in managing payroll processes, bookkeeping tasks, and inventory purchasing.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Previous assistant manager or supervisory experience in retail stores or grocery environments is highly desirable.
