Overview
Marfil Insurance Agency is seeking a motivated and reliable Insurance Sales & Customer Service Representative to join our growing team.
This role combines customer service and sales, assisting existing clients while also generating new insurance policies through quoting, cross-selling, and referrals. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping people, building relationships, and taking advantage of sales opportunities to grow their income and career.

Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to clients by phone, email, and in person
- Assist customers with policy questions, changes, payments, and claims support
- Quote and sell insurance policies including Auto, Home, Commercial, and Life
- Identify opportunities to cross-sell and upsell coverage to existing clients
- Follow up with prospects and leads to close new business
- Make outbound calls to generate quotes and new policies
- Build strong relationships with clients to maintain retention and referrals
- Maintain accurate records in the agency management system
- Support marketing and referral initiatives to help grow the agency
Sales Expectations
This role includes sales responsibilities and performance expectations.
Team members are expected to:
- Quote new business opportunities
- Cross-sell additional policies to existing customers
- Follow up on leads and referrals
- Contribute to monthly sales goals for the agency
Qualifications
- Customer service or sales experience preferred
- Insurance experience is a plus but not required (training provided)
- Bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable speaking with customers and recommending insurance coverage
- Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced office
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic

Job Type: Full-time
Base Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
