The Intervention Tutor position supports students, teachers, and other staff in creating a caring and safe environment for students, while assisting in activities to improve students’ academic skills in reading and math. The individual must be able to communicate, listen, and work well with others in a team environment, assisting the staff in implementing a quality educational program and in developing positive relationships with the students and their parents; the individual observes and documents progress and relays that information back to the teachers, administration, etc. The intervention Tutor is responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate academic activities based on needs under the direction of teachers, principals, or other designees.
