Plans and directs the delivery of system-wide Outreach Services through a variety of programs and projects. Participates with management team in developing and implementing goals, objectives, standards, and policies for library services. Researches and applies for grants and supports library staff submitting grant proposals.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE STANDARDS:
Requirements:
Education: Master of Library and Information Science form an ALA-accredited college or university.
Experience: Five (5) years experience in libraries or equivalent related experience required.
Licensing/Certification:
- Must possess and maintain a valid Georgia Library certification.
- Possession of a valid driver's license with good driving history. If State license is other than Georgia or South Carolina, applicant must obtain a license in Georgia or South Carolina within 30 days of employment.
OTHER:
- Flexibility to work some weekends and evenings as part of regular schedule.
- Travel from office to other locations required for this position.
