About the Role
We’re hiring experienced HVAC sheet metal duct installers and refrigerant piping installers for night work on public projects in New York City. This is a prevailing wage position with strong pay and benefits. You’ll be installing ductwork and refrigeration piping in active buildings, so accuracy, speed, and professionalism matter.
What You’ll Do
- Install sheet metal ductwork and refrigerant piping according to drawings and specs
- Support night shutdown work, demo, and changeover as needed
- Follow QC requirements and make sure all work is clean, sealed, and properly supported
- Work with the foreman / PM to hit schedule and inspection dates
- Follow site safety rules, NYC code, and project requirements
What You Need
- Real field experience installing HVAC duct and/or refrigeration piping
- OSHA/SST 40-hour
- FDNY F-60 and G-60 (or able to get)
- Can read prints and understand layout, elevations, hangers, supports, etc.
- Can work nights and handle fast-paced shutdown work
- Takes safety seriously and shows up ready to work
