The Behavior Classroom Aide supports students with disabilities across various grade levels throughout Prince William County. This role focuses on assisting groups of students with behavioral, social-emotional, and academic needs in both general education and specialized classroom settings. Candidates with experience in ABA practices, behavior technician roles, or RBT backgrounds are strongly encouraged to apply.
Support multiple students at a time based on classroom and school needs
Implement behavior intervention strategies under teacher and BCBA guidance
Assist with ABA-based programming, reinforcement systems, and behavior data collection
Promote positive behavior, emotional regulation, and skill development
Provide classroom support including redirection, modeling, and structured routines
Collaborate with teachers, behavior specialists, and school staff
Maintain a safe, supportive, and consistent learning environment
Assist with crisis-prevention and de-escalation strategies when needed

School Year: 2026–2027
Openings: Multiple positions across the county
Grade Levels: Elementary, Middle, and High School
Schedule: Full-time, school-day hours
Pay Rate: $22/hr
Experience working with students with disabilities
ABA exposure, behavior technician experience, or RBT background preferred
Ability to follow structured behavior plans and collect data
Strong communication, patience, and teamwork skills
Must meet all district onboarding requirements
