Legacy Cranes & Equipment is seeking a Shop Helper for a full-time role in Creola, Alabama.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to:
- Performs scheduled maintenance, such as cleaning and lubricating parts
- Diagnoses and repairs malfunctions, replacing worn or defective parts like bearings, pistons, and gears
- Overhauls and tests major components like engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems
- Installs and repairs special equipment
- Advises on equipment and parts selection, and instructs operators on equipment operation and servicing
- Keeps records and makes reports
Must have experience with or knowledge of:
- Heavy-duty trucks and semi-tractors
Requirements:
- Effective communication skills
- The ability to work independently or as part of a team
- A proactive approach to safety
- The ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must have valid Driver’s license
- Must be willing to undergo drug screening and background checks
