PART TIME Bartender!

Joining our team has great perks including a service charge from a percentage of the daily sales incorporated into your paycheck on top of the hourly pay advertised. Tips will also be added on top of your hourly pay.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
§ Ensures that all members and guests receive proper, attentive, courteous, and expedient service in a clean and pleasant atmosphere.
§ Always wear appropriate uniforms prescribed by policy and maintain personal cleanliness.
§ Responsible for opening/closing duties for shift worked.
§ Familiarize yourself with the daily menu and specials.
§ Thorough knowledge of food menu and ingredients.
§ Thorough knowledge of alcoholic beverage offerings and how drinks are prepared.
§ Be able to pour accurately.
§ Prepare all drinks within the Point of Service standard of 4 minutes.
§ Can effectively perform proper tableside/bar wine presentation.
§ Restock bar area for the next shift.
§ Communicate with servers and prepare their server tickets.
§ Cut fruit and garnishes.
§ Must be knowledgeable of kitchen food storage.
§ Must stay attentive of running the dishwasher and polishing glassware.
§ Must be able to work in a fast passed environment and handle stress.
§ Greet all arriving guests at assigned station within one (1) minute in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome and at ease.
§ Take food and beverage orders promptly and courteously, make suggestions about various dishes and wines, and operate the P.O.S. (point of sale) system accordingly.
§ Serve drinks and pour wines for members and guests.
§ Transfer food at the proper temperature from the kitchen to the dining room and be able to serve and remove dishes using the proper service methods as instructed.
§ Provide excellent service and attention to details for all guests throughout their dining experience and immediately correct any deficiencies noted.
§ Participate in the continuous cleaning and upkeep of the restaurant and bar service and storage areas.
§ Notify the MOD if you need to leave your station for any reason (this includes restroom and smoke breaks).
§ Inform the MOD of any complaints or compliments or issues immediately.
§ Answer dining room phones by taking messages and answering questions (must be knowledgeable of operating hours and other pertinent club information).
§ Place food orders and to go orders.
§ Adherence to schedules and on time attendance at all line up meetings.
§ To work well as a team member with the entire club staff.
§ Always have a professional and friendly tone and action.
§ Operate under all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as set forth by the Club.
§ Other duties as assigned and requested by management.
Must be willing to work, holidays & weekends. Must have proof of current ServSafe/Food Handlers etc. certificates while employed at SDYC
