Job Description: Clinical Research Coordinator
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Clinical Research Coordinator to support clinical trials conducted at our growing gastroenterology research site. This on-site position plays a critical role in the day-to-day coordination of clinical studies, ensuring compliance with protocols, regulatory requirements, and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and conduct study visits in accordance with research protocols.
- Screen, recruit, and consent study participants based on protocol requirements.
- Collect, process, and document study data accurately and timely.
- Maintain regulatory binders and study documentation.
- Assist with IRB submissions, amendments, and continuing reviews.
- Ensure compliance with GCP, HIPAA, and study-specific requirements.
- Maintain professional and prompt communication with investigators, sponsors, monitors, and study staff.
- Prepare for and assist during monitoring visits, audits, and inspections.
- Track study supplies, investigational products, and study timelines.
Required qualifications:
- Prior experience in healthcare or medical office settings
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work on-site during regular business hours
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and electronic documentation
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior experience in clinical research
- Familiarity with gastroenterology studies
- Knowledge of GCP, IRB processes, and regulatory documentation
- Experience with data entry
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk throughout the day.
- Prolonged periods of sitting and performing administrative duties including the use of computers.
- Able to lift and carry supplies and equipment as needed (up to 15 pounds).
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
