Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician
Location: Moraine, OH (Dayton Area)
Shift: Night Shift | 7pm - 7am
Pay: $30-$45/hr + Sign-On Bonus
Position Overview
We're seeking an experienced Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production machinery and facility equipment.
- Perform preventative and emergency maintenance on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Diagnose faults and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical components.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and technical drawings.
- Replace motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, conveyors, valves, and other machine components.
- Perform basic PLC troubleshooting and equipment calibrations.
- Use CMMS work orders to complete scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment in line with company safety standards.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting skills.
- Basic PLC troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with conveyors, motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, valves, and industrial equipment.
- Completion of a maintenance apprenticeship or equivalent experience preferred.
- Ability to pass the Ramsay Maintenance Skills Assessment.
Working Environment
- Manufacturing environment with heat, noise, moving machinery, and airborne particles.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
