Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Coordinator to oversee and manage controls integration projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, control systems knowledge, and proficiency with industry-standard software. This role involves coordinating project activities, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining communication among stakeholders to achieve project goals efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate all phases of controls integration projects, including planning, scheduling, and execution
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar engineering project management software
- Manage project budgets, cost estimates, and financial tracking utilizing Excel data analysis and other project cost management tools
- Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met
- Prepare and review contracts, change orders, and procurement documents
- Monitor project progress and performance; identify potential delays or issues early and implement corrective actions
- Oversee customer site activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
- Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation for stakeholders
- Utilize project management software for document control and communication
- Facilitate effective communication across teams to promote collaboration and resolve conflicts promptly
- Ensure adherence to project timelines by applying effective project scheduling techniques
Skills
- Proven experience in project management within the controls industry with a focus on controls integration projects
- Proficiency in Excel data analysis and other project management software
- Strong understanding of project estimating, scheduling, cost management, and contracts administration
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Analytical skills for data interpretation and problem-solving in complex project environments
- Effective time management to meet deadlines consistently
- Industrial site experience is highly desirable for practical insight into field operations
- Ability to coordinate teams effectively while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills for clear stakeholder engagement across various levels of the organization
