All full-time therapists are allotted up to 3 hours of paid documentation time per week. Appointments are 60 minutes long, with evaluations taking 90 minutes (60 minutes face-to-face and 30 minutes for paid documentation).
Additionally, we provide on-site childcare while you work, so you are never far from your child. The maximum out-of-pocket expense for full-time childcare is (current rate - subject to change) We offer flexible hours for therapists because we understand that life extends beyond our clinic walls. Responsibilities
- Assist occupational therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
- Work with patients of all ages, with a focus on pediatrics
- Monitor and document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the occupational therapist.
- Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the occupational therapist to develop individualized treatment goals and plans
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for patients during therapy sessions.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology to effectively assist in patient care.
- Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy practices.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
- Excellent organizational skills
-Must be licensed in Washington State.
-Must supervise therapy aides.
-The starting pay is for Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who have just been licensed. It is subject to change based on your experience.
