We are seeking a passionate and energetic Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team! Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes, presentation standards, and quality specifications
- Assist with menu planning and ingredient selection to ensure freshness and variety
- Handle food with care, following strict food safety and sanitation guidelines at all times
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations, utensils, and equipment
- Support food handling procedures during meal preparation, ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients
- Collaborate with team members to deliver exceptional food service experiences
- Participate in catering events or special meal preparations as needed to support restaurant operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a dietary aide within the food industry or restaurant setting
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation techniques
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices
- Experience with menu planning, catering, or serving in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and front-of-house teams
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Familiarity with dietary department procedures and dietary aide experience is a plus
