The Registered Nurse Supervisor serves as a clinical leader responsible for overseeing nursing operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, supporting frontline staff, and promoting exceptional resident outcomes.
This role works closely with the Director of Nursing and interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive the highest level of care while maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.
Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff, including Charge Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants.
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
Assist in coaching, mentoring, and developing clinical team members.
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans.
Ensure timely completion of baseline, quarterly, annual, and significant change assessments.
Monitor residents for changes in condition and initiate appropriate interventions.
Coordinate physician communications and facilitate physician rounds.
Initiate consultations and referrals as clinically indicated.
Ensure residents receive safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care.
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations and facility policies.
Support infection prevention and control initiatives.
Assist with quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
Ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Complete clinical reports, evaluations, and documentation requirements.
Assist with staffing coordination and clinical problem-solving.
Participate in meetings and interdisciplinary care conferences.
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in the State of Georgia.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
Commitment to delivering exceptional resident-centered care.
Supervisory or management experience.
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF), Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care, or Post-Acute Care experience.
Knowledge of CMS regulations and long-term care standards.
