Janitor Positions Available – Hancock, MD
Kings Cleaning is currently hiring Janitors for a facility located in Hancock, MD. We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and professional environments.
Schedule & Pay Information
This position operates on a 7-day schedule (Monday–Sunday) with rotating weekends.
Available shifts include:
- First Shift: 7:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Second Shift: 8:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Please note: Night shift differential pay is provided for all applicable evening hours.
Position Overview
As a Janitor with Kings Cleaning, you will play an essential role in maintaining cleanliness and safety throughout the facility. This position requires attention to detail, reliability, and a strong work ethic. You will be responsible for ensuring that all assigned areas are clean, sanitary, and well-maintained to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
- Operate commercial cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers ( If Needed)
- Safely handle and apply cleaning chemicals following all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners throughout the facility.
- Restock supplies such as paper products and soap dispensers.
- Assist with general facility upkeep, including light maintenance tasks and organization.
- Move and handle furniture, equipment, and supplies safely using proper lifting techniques.
- Support specialized or deep-cleaning projects as needed.
- Maintain accurate logs of cleaning activities and completed tasks.
Qualifications
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning experience preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper safety procedures.
- Ability to operate floor care equipment (buffers, scrubbers, vacuums) preferred.
- Physically able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects using proper safety techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a rotating schedule.
