Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
· Prepare, enter, and revise sales quotes for retail, commercial, project, and OEM customers
· Provide sales support to in-house sales team, outside sales reps, dealers, designers, architects, and end users
· Handle incoming customer service and sales phone calls in a professional and helpful manner
· Reply to customer service, support, and sales emails promptly and accurately
· Assist customers and sales reps with product information, pricing, stock status, lead times, freight quotes, replacement parts, and general order questions
· Demonstrate product knowledge to provide clear and helpful assistance to customers, reps, designers, architects, installers, and end users
· Help troubleshoot product questions and basic technical issues, including installation, operation, dimming, charging, replacement parts, and warranty-related questions
· Process and support sample requests, product information requests, tear sheets, images, forms, and other sales collateral
· Follow up with customers and sales reps regarding open quotes, sample requests, missing information, and pending order details
· Provide administrative support to sales representatives and help them respond to customer opportunities more efficiently
· Coordinate with sales, customer service, shipping, accounting, purchasing, and technical departments to resolve customer questions or issues
· Help manage customer accounts, including new account setup, account updates, contact information, and customer records
· Handle order changes, cancellations, shipping questions, and other customer service issues as needed
· Help capture accurate and complete project/customer information and maintain proper records in CRM or internal systems
· Help coordinate larger or more complicated projects, manage deadlines, and communicate with internal team members and outside sales staff
· Support sales promotions by communicating product updates, pricing information, and opportunities to customers and reps
· Maintain and expand the database of customers, reps, prospects, and project contacts as needed
· All other duties as assigned
PREFERRED:
· College Degree
· Experience preparing sales quotes or working with sales representatives
· Experience in lighting, furniture, architectural products, design, or similar product-based industry
· QuickBooks knowledge/experience
SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS:
· A minimum of 2 years' experience in sales support, customer service, quotations, or related office support role
· Possess an upbeat, energetic, and can-do attitude
· Strong attention to detail and accuracy when entering quotes, pricing, product information, and customer records
· Comfortable answering customer phone calls and handling customer questions professionally
· Strong written communication skills for replying to customer, sales, and support emails
· Demonstrated ability to multitask and effectively prioritize tasks
· Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues efficiently
· Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with an outstanding phone manner
· Excellent time management and follow-up abilities
· Able to learn technical product information and explain it clearly to customers
· Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, email, and data entry
· Experience with CRM, order entry, or accounting software is a plus
