We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Sandwich Maker to join our team in a fast-paced environment. This role requires attention to detail, time management skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a quick-service setting. This position accepts tips.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble sandwiches according to customer specifications and menu standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining cash handling procedures
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking supplies and monitoring expiration dates
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours
Experience
- Familiarity with quick service or fast food restaurant operations is advantageous
- Experience with cashiering and retail math skills for accurate transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests
- Basic math skills for order accuracy and cash handling responsibilities
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
