Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Lead Insulation Installer / Crew Leader who will not only execute high-quality installations but also act as a foundational builder for our production team. In this role, you will lead by example on-site, establish our quality standards, and actively help recruit, train, and mentor your own crew members as we expand.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Installations: Perform and oversee high-quality installations of various insulation materials (fiberglass blow-in, cellulose, spray foam) and attic retrofits in residential properties.
- Build & Train Your Team: Train, mentor, and supervise new installers, fostering a team culture of safety, efficiency, and high quality.
- Job Site Management: Coordinate daily workflow, manage job-site safety protocols, and ensure projects are completed on schedule.
- Quality Control & Cleanup: Conduct final walkthroughs to ensure all work meets or exceeds building codes and company standards. Ensure the customer's property is left absolutely spotless.
- Client Communication: Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for homeowners, delivering friendly, professional customer service.
What We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 2–4 years of professional insulation installation experience (residential retrofits, attic blowing, air sealing, and crawlspaces).
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading a crew, managing job sites, or training junior installers.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of building science, proper air sealing techniques, and various insulation methods.
- Clean Record: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (essential for operating company vehicles) and the ability to pass a background check.
- Physical Stamina: Comfort working in tight, confined spaces (attics, crawlspaces), climbing ladders, enduring variable attic temperatures (summer heat), and the ability to lift 50–70 lbs comfortably (loading insulation bags and equipment).
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
