Job Summary
We are seeking a dependable and skilled Handyman / Driver to support our construction and operations team. This role combines hands-on handyman work with material transportation using a company-provided truck and dump trailer. The ideal candidate is comfortable pulling and backing up trailers, loading and delivering materials, and assisting with various construction tasks on-site.
This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working both on the road and in the field, and who has practical knowledge of construction fundamentals.
Qualifications/Responsibilities
- Safely operate a company truck with dump trailers, including pulling and backing up trailers in residential and job site environments.
- Load, secure, transport, and deliver construction materials to and from job sites.
- Assist with material pickup from suppliers and disposal runs as needed.
- Perform general handyman tasks including minor repairs and installations.
- Install doors and windows as needed.
- Assist with concrete work, including knowledge of concrete forming, pouring, and finishing.
- Support job site setup and cleanup to maintain safe and organized work areas.
- Communicate with project managers and team members regarding delivery schedules and site needs.
- Ensure vehicles and trailers are maintained, clean, and operated safely at all times.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Hands-on handyman or construction experience required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in active construction environments.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
