Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented 3rd Shift Set Up Technician to join our manufacturing team. This pivotal role involves preparing and configuring machinery for production runs during overnight hours, ensuring seamless transitions between setups, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Task/Responsibilities
- Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging machines.
- Perform set-ups and tear downs, diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
- Perform basic preventive maintenance on machines/equipment.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools and material handling equipment in performing duties.
- Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
- Complete work orders and paperwork regarding daily maintenance and repair duties.
- Must be able to listen and follow directions.
- Read and understand work directions.
Experience
- 2 years of experience in the cosmetic or food industry preferred.
- Forklift license
- Ability to apply various principles and practices in a variety of skilled-trade areas (e.g., plumbing, mechanical, electrical, etc.)
- Knowledge of GMPs, lock out/ tag out, conveyors, mixers, gear boxes, control panels etc.
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
