We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Dishwasher to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and cooking equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized. This position is essential for supporting our culinary staff.
Responsibilities
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, and pans using industrial dishwashing equipment.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area by sweeping, mopping, and disposing of trash regularly.
- Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
- Help with bussing tables during peak service times to maintain a smooth workflow.
- Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization in the kitchen.
Experience
- Previous experience in a catering, hotel, or banquet setting is preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the hospitality team are essential for success in this role.
- Must have current food handler's card.
