Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable, on-demand driver to assist with local pickups and deliveries. This role is flexible and scheduled on an as-needed basis, with no guaranteed set hours. Ideal for someone who is dependable, responsive, and comfortable driving cargo vans.
Drivers may be asked to operate a company-provided 9’ cargo van (U-Haul or similar), or use their own Sprinter van or comparable vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Safely drive and transport materials, equipment, or goods between locations
- Load and unload items as needed
- Ensure timely pickups and deliveries
- Communicate clearly regarding availability and job status
- Follow all traffic laws and safety guidelines
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Comfortable driving cargo vans (U-Haul or similar size)
- Age 21+ (must meet rental requirements if operating company vehicle)
- Reliable, punctual, and responsive
- Ability to lift and move items as needed
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior delivery or moving experience
- Experience driving larger vans (Sprinter, box truck, etc.)
- Access to your own cargo or Sprinter van (not required, but a plus)
Schedule & Availability:
- Work is on an as-needed basis (no fixed schedule)
- Jobs may be scheduled on short notice
- Flexible availability is highly preferred
