Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items with precision, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Operate various kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including grills, braising pans, poaching tools, and food production stations.
- Maintain strict food safety and sanitizing procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
- Assist with menu planning and meal preparation for high-volume service periods, including catering events if needed.
- Follow recipe adherence closely to ensure consistency across all dishes served.
- Support the culinary team by managing food handling tasks such as food production, portioning, and plating.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service while maintaining quality standards.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Line Cook or similar role within a restaurant or food service environment.
- Demonstrated knowledge of food industry best practices, including food safety management and sanitizing procedures.
- Experience with fine dining or high-volume production environments is highly desirable.
- Skilled in various cooking techniques such as grilling, braising, poaching, and meal preparation.
- Strong knife skills and familiarity with operating kitchen equipment safely
- Background in dietary department settings or catering experience is a plus.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35.0 – 42.0 per week
