Overview
We are seeking energetic and compassionate In-Home Non-Medical Senior Care Assistants to join our dedicated team. In this vital role, you will support seniors and individuals with disabilities by assisting with daily activities, providing companionship, and ensuring their safety and well-being in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Support clients with meal preparation and light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
- Observe and monitor residents’ health status, including vital signs and overall condition, reporting any concerns promptly
- Use manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts safely to assist with mobility needs
- Follow care plans meticulously to ensure personalized care tailored to each individual’s needs
- Maintain accurate documentation of care provided while respecting client confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
Experience
- Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly desirable
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, or neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism is preferred
- Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration support, and vital signs monitoring is advantageous
- Familiarity with care plans, manual handling procedures, and safety protocols like CPR and first aid enhances your effectiveness in this role
- Prior caregiving experience supporting seniors or individuals with intellectual disabilities supports success in this position
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team dedicated to compassionate care

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
