Job Summary
Join our dynamic automotive service team as an Oil Change Pit Technician! Responsibilities
- Perform oil changes from underneath vehicle quickly and accurately using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment to meet customer needs.
- Conduct basic vehicle inspections to identify potential issues such as tire wear, fluid levels, and mechanical problems
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained for safety and efficiency.
- Communicate clearly with team members and customers about vehicle status, recommended services, and maintenance needs.
Experience
- Dealership experience or prior automotive service background is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with a strong understanding of automotive repair procedures.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics tools and techniques for troubleshooting vehicle issues.
- Mechanical knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and suspension components.
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and specialized automotive equipment safely and effectively.
- Customer service skills that enable positive interactions with clients while explaining services performed.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling tires, batteries, or other vehicle parts.
- Highly organized to work 3 vehicles from the pit
