F2B Services (https://f2bservices.com/), a leader in LED displays and interactive content for brand management, located in Hillsborough, NJ, is looking for a Part-Time (Approximately 24 hours/week) Bookkeeper (In-Office).
We are seeking a detail-oriented, dependable, and proactive Bookkeeper with a minimum of 3 years’ hands-on bookkeeping experience and an excellent working knowledge of QuickBooks Online. The ideal candidate will possess strong account reconciliation skills and be comfortable supporting both Accounts Receivable (A/R) and Accounts Payable (A/P) functions, including customer and vendor communications related to payments.
This role requires someone who is organized, accountable and capable of maintaining accurate financial records in a fast-paced, service-oriented business environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES of a Bookkeeper:
Bookkeeping and Financial Recordkeeping
· Maintain accurate financial records and day-to-day bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks Online.
· Record and categorize financial transactions, journal entries and account adjustments.
· Assist with month-end and year-end financial close activities.
· Maintain organized financial documentation and records.
Bank and Account Reconciliation
· Perform daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliations.
· Identify and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Ensure accuracy between financial systems and banking activity.
Accounts Receivable (A/R)
· Generate and distribute customer invoices.
· Monitor outstanding receivables and aging reports.
· Conduct customer payment follow-up calls and email communications.
· Assist with collections efforts while maintaining professional customer relationships.
· Apply and reconcile incoming payments.
Accounts Payable (A/P)
· Process vendor invoices and maintain payment schedules.
· Verify coding, approvals, and supporting documentation.
· Issue payments via check, ACH, wire, or electronic payment platforms.
· Communicate with vendors regarding billing questions and payment status.
· Maintain organized vendor files and payment records.
Administrative and Operational Support
· Assist management with reporting and financial tracking.
· Support payroll preparation and expense tracking as needed.
· Help maintain internal financial processes and controls.
· Coordinate with outside accountants/CPA during reporting periods.
· Support internal workflow coordination using Monday.com and Salesforce.
REQUIREMENTS of a Bookkeeper:
· Minimum 3 years of bookkeeping experience.
· Strong expertise in QuickBooks Online.
· Excellent account reconciliation skills.
· Experience supporting Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable.
· Comfortable making collection/payment follow-up calls and communicating professionally with customers and vendors.
· Working knowledge of Monday.com and Salesforce CRM. (Preferred)
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office and/or Google Workspace.
· Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently.
· Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience in a service-based, event, trade show, or project-based business environment.
· Experience with payroll support and expense management.
· Understanding of job costing and project accounting.
The Bookkeeper position offers an hourly pay range of $30-$32 per hour based on experience and qualifications. This position is in-office (Hillsborough, NJ) and part-time (approximately 24 hours/week).
