Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, shipping and receiving, and maintaining a safe and organized environment. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to move and organize inventory efficiently and safely.
- Manage warehouse distribution processes by picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to track inventory levels, update stock records, and support order processing.
- Assist with shipping and receiving activities by loading and unloading goods accurately and promptly.
- Stock shelves systematically, ensuring proper placement of products for easy access and inventory accuracy.
- Conduct order picking using order pickers and RF scanners to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Support packaging operations by preparing items for shipment according to company standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and updates within MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely order fulfillment in e-commerce environments.
- Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries in the warehouse environment.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a warehouse setting is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated proficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or similar inventory software.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures and order fulfillment processes.
- Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations related to order processing.
- Experience with packaging materials and techniques for safe product shipment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy items and standing for extended periods.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in stock management and order accuracy.
