Position Summary:
We are seeking a reliable, hands-on Tire Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of a family-owned tire shop. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage employees, coordinate tire sales and installations, maintain inventory, and ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day shop operations and workflow.
Provide exceptional customer service and assist customers with tire selection and service recommendations.
Prepare estimates, invoices, and work orders.
Schedule appointments and coordinate shop workload.
Supervise technicians.
Ensure tire installations, repairs, balancing, and alignments are completed accurately and efficiently.
Order, receive, and maintain inventory of tires, wheels, and shop supplies.
Monitor cash handling, daily sales.
Maintain vendor relationships and coordinate deliveries.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Handle customer concerns and resolve issues professionally.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional shop environment.
Qualifications:
Previous tire shop, automotive service, or management experience preferred.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Knowledge of tire brands, tire sizing, wheel applications, and automotive maintenance.
Ability to lead and motivate a small team.
Experience with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to work in a shop environment with exposure to automotive equipment and varying weather conditions.
