Job Summary
We are seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated Toddler Teacher to join our early childhood education team. The Toddler Teacher will create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment that supports young children’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
Hours Needed
Full Time- 9:00am - 6:00pm
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities aligned with early learning standards
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Supervise children at all times to ensure safety and well-being
- Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
- Observe, assess, and document children’s progress
- Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding child development and daily activities
- Maintain a clean, organized, and engaging classroom
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff
- Follow all school policies, health regulations, and safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (required)
- Early Childhood Education certification, CDA, or related degree (preferred)
- Previous experience working with young children (preferred)
- Strong communication and classroom management skills
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to pass background checks and meet licensing requirements
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
- Ability to sit on the floor, bend, kneel, and stand for extended periods
Schedule
- Full-Time: 35–40 hours per week
Compensation
- Pay Range:
- Full-Time: $12–$15 per hour, based on education and experience
(Pay may be higher for candidates with certifications, degrees, or extensive experience.)
