As an Intake Representative, you will play a crucial role in guiding families through the initial steps of their journey with us. You'll be responsible for speaking to mothers, helping them understand our services, and ensuring a smooth transition to their care provider.
Intake Representative Responsibilities
- Conduct initial sales pitches to warm leads, engaging families and organizations to introduce them to our services.
- Enroll patients and aides in our programs, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
- Communicate effectively with both external clients (CHHA, patients, families) and internal departments (HR, coordination teams).
- Process authorizations and coordinate hand-offs to other departments to ensure timely service delivery.
- Collaborate with HR and recruiting to ensure alignment and clarity of responsibilities.
Intake Representative Requirements
- Strong Sales abilities with a focus on relationship-building.
- Taking initiative on tasks with a determination to follow up and achieve sales goals.
- Ability to take initiative and demonstrate responsibility in managing tasks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and able to learn new software, such as Bolt, HHA Exchange, and Medchek.
- Excellent communication and empathy skills, able to connect with clients and understand them.
- Experience in sales is preferred
- This position requires on-site presence because intake staff must access secure systems, process sensitive documents, communicate closely with multiple departments, and handle time-sensitive authorizations that require direct coordination with supervisors and clinical staff. These essential functions cannot be performed remotely.
