About the Role
The Peninsula Club is searching for talented individuals seeking a great opportunity to work outdoors around the game of golf with beautiful views of Lake Norman. This position is the perfect opportunity for individuals looking to gain entry-level experience in the golf industry or those extra income earners who simply enjoy creating memorable experiences for others.
This is a temporary and part=time position offering 8-hour shifts up to 32 hours per week. Shift includes weekdays and weekends. Target start date no later than September 10th.
Pay: 13.00 –$15.00 plus gratuity

Schedule/Shift: [Morning and Afternoon Shifts. Target start date: September 10th, 2024.
Your Contribution to Our Team Includes:
- Performs all duties according to the daily checklist set by the Outside Operations Supervisor.
- Prepares all golf carts for the day’s play with pencils, scorecards, fresh towels, full sand bottles and tees.
- Oversees total cart operation, ensuring all carts are properly cleaned, stocked, and charged.
- Oversees practice area, chipping area, cart barn, and surrounding area to ensure it is properly stocked and picked.
- Ensures range is set and open one hour prior to first tee time.
- Greets members and guests promptly as they arrive.
- Ensures all clubs are thoroughly cleaned and stored.
- Maintain bag room cleanliness.
Monitors inventory levels of towels, pencils, practice balls, soap, and other products used in the cart barn. Advises supervisor or professional staff of any needs.

- You have a general knowledge of golf etiquette
- You are dedicated to serving others, regardless of whether it is an internal or external customer because we expect our team members to have hearts for service.
Must-Have Minimum Qualifications:
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds over your head
- Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions
- Must be able to be on your feet for up to 8 hours at a time
- Clear background screening and employment authorized
- A valid driver’s license
- Available to work holidays & weekends
