Reporting to the Vice Provost for Academic and Faculty Success, the Director of the Office of Student Research (OSR) advances the office’s mission to nurture and encourage students with their academic experiences by expanding opportunities that facilitate, support, fund, and recognize student research and mission-related creative and scholarly projects.
Initiatives led by the Director of the OSR will significantly contribute to Roosevelt University’s strategic initiatives of centering student research a primary source of engagement that promotes recruitment, retention, and student success by nurturing a sense of belonging in the RU learning environment.
Specific duties include direction of strategic planning, administration, and research instruction and resource development; and should be carried out in alignment with the vision, approach, and values for the office as described below and the distinctive place of Roosevelt University within higher education.

The salary range for this position is $75,000-77,000
