Role and Responsibilities: As a Shipping Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely shipment of customer orders. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Pulling stock orders from warehouse shelves
- Preparing shipment labels and required shipping documentation
- UPS and FedEx shipment entry
- Stock entry and inventory tracking
- Use of counting scales
- Performing visual and dimensional inspections using micrometers and calipers
- Some heavy lifting required
- Maintaining a clean and organized shipping area
- Working collaboratively as a team player
Required Proficiency Needed:
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience
- Ability to accurately follow shipping instructions
- Comfortable using measuring tools and inspection equipment
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
