Head Teacher

World of Wonder Early Learning Center is seeking a caring, reliable, and experienced Head Teacher to lead our Toddler Classroom and create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Lead classroom activities and daily routines for toddlers
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning experiences
- Support children's learning, development, and social-emotional growth
- Maintain active supervision and ensure child safety at all times
- Promote positive behavior through encouragement and guidance
- Supervise and mentor Teacher Assistants
- Build positive relationships and communicate regularly with families
- Help keep classrooms clean, organized, and welcoming
- Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety requirements
Required Qualifications
- CDA, Associate Degree, or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field required
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with infants and/or toddlers
- Strong leadership, classroom management, and communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- CPR and First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills

Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday [must be available all 5 days]
Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM [Flexibility to work either shift during the first year is required]
Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour, based on experience

- Toddler Head Teacher – 201 Harrison Street
