Key Responsibilities
- Conduct professional and engaging property tours for prospective residents.
- Respond promptly and professionally to phone, email, internet, and walk-in inquiries.
- Convert leads into leases through effective follow-up, relationship building, and sales techniques.
- Maintain a strong understanding of floor plans, amenities, pricing, availability, and community features.
- Prepare and process rental applications, leases, renewals, and related documentation accurately and efficiently.
- Conduct applicant screening and follow established qualification and leasing procedures.
- Follow up consistently with prospects throughout the leasing process to maximize conversion and occupancy.
- Maintain accurate records and update leasing activity, traffic, follow-up, and prospect information in the property management system.
- Assist with achieving and maintaining occupancy, revenue, and leasing goals.
- Build positive relationships with current residents and provide exceptional customer service.
- Address resident questions and concerns professionally and escalate issues appropriately when necessary.
- Assist with move-ins, move-outs, inspections, resident communications, and other property operations as needed.
- Maintain a professional, clean, and welcoming leasing office and model apartment presentation.
- Support resident retention initiatives and renewal efforts.
- Work collaboratively with the property management and maintenance teams to ensure an excellent resident experience.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, Fair Housing requirements, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of multifamily leasing experience required.
- Proven success in apartment leasing, sales, and customer service.
- Strong closing and follow-up skills with the ability to convert prospects into residents.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy with documentation.
- Proficiency with property management and leasing software preferred.
- Working knowledge of Fair Housing laws and multifamily leasing practices.
- Ability to work independently while also functioning effectively as part of a team.
- Must demonstrate professionalism, reliability, accountability, and a positive attitude.
Work Schedule:
- Sunday – Thursday – 9AM – 5:30PM
- Tuesday – Saturday - 9AM – 5:30PM

The successful candidate will be a results-oriented leasing professional who takes ownership of the leasing process. You should be comfortable asking for the lease, following up consistently, overcoming objections, and building lasting relationships with residents.
