Asphalt Specialties Co., Inc. is a Colorado family-owned corporation. We specialize in meeting individual customer needs while providing quality products and services throughout the Front Range of Colorado and Wyoming. We supply a full range of building materials including aggregate, asphalt and aggregate recycled products.
We are looking for an EXPERIENCED Quality Control Manager.
Responsibilities
- Supervise the QC program to ensure all aggregate and asphalt materials meet or exceed specifications for all City/State/Municipalities/Commercial and Private sector projects.
- Examine laboratory samples to determine their physical properties.
- Develop and submit asphalt mix designs for all asphalt facilities.
- Ensure that plant settings produce the products within the specifications. Report any discrepancies to facility management.
- Manage and support all manufacturing and construction operations.
- Manage and assist the technicians to ensure all facilities are producing quality products within the required specifications.
- Report all test results to senior management daily.
- Consult with operations and collaboratively work to promptly resolve and potential quality concerns including sales, and or customer complaints.
- Oversee and maintain ASCI’s AMRL accreditations program.
- Have effective communications skills to meet with City/State/Municipalities/Commercial and Private customers.
- Obtain/maintain all necessary permits, licenses and certifications for self and all staff members.
- Promote and ensure ASCI’s safety guidelines and standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or years of equivalent experience.
- 7-10 years minimum of experience in the construction industry in a quality control and laboratory environment.
- Required computer and software skills: Microsoft suite (Excel, Office, PowerPoint), Stonemont.
