Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm to create an inviting atmosphere
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Assist with food preparation, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties
- Ensure food safety standards are met through proper food handling, sanitation, and hygiene practices
- Support kitchen staff by coordinating food delivery and managing timing for efficient service
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, specials, and promotions to assist guests effectively
- Engage with guests to provide excellent customer service, addressing any concerns promptly
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments preferred but not required; training provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is beneficial for understanding high-volume operations
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary basics enhances guest interactions
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to perform basic math for cash handling, retail math tasks, and order calculations
- Experience with food safety protocols, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures is advantageous
