American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Post Surgical PACU position in Santa Fe, NM, requiring active NM or Compact RN licensure and Epic EMR proficiency.

Post Surgical PACU unit in a regional medical center setting
-
Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM on 4 rotating 10-hour shifts per week
-
2 weekend call shifts (12 hrs each) per month, with Saturday + Sunday counting as 1 weekend
-
1 night on-call shift required per week
-
Floating within surgical services required
-
Epic EMR experience required
-
Graphite grey scrubs required
-
13-week contract

Active NM RN license or current Compact state RN license

Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications via AHA required

Minimum 1 year of RN experience required

Epic EMR experience required

Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program

US Social Security Number required for consideration

Responsibilities include initial and ongoing patient assessment, individualized care planning, documentation of interventions, Point of Care testing, and patient/family education and discharge planning

Care is provided consistent with unit standards across the appropriate patient age population

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel pay rates; local candidates are not accepted on this position unless explicitly stated
