This position is an excellent way to get started with our clinic and showcase your skills. When permanent, stationary positions become available, we typically offer them to our Triage Support Staff first, giving you a clear path to grow within our organization.
Position Overview
As a Triage Float Support Staff, you’ll have a designated home office in Frenchburg where you will train and work primarily. When needed, you will provide essential triage support at other sister clinic locations (Mt. Sterling, Stanton, Owingsville).
Your responsibilities will include:
- Covering for absent triage staff to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Assisting providers with patient care, including rooming patients, collecting medical histories, and obtaining vital signs.
- Managing patient phone calls, including symptom assessment, routing messages to providers, and scheduling appointments as appropriate.
- Monitoring and responding to patient messages in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Preparing exam rooms, stocking supplies, and maintaining cleanliness according to clinic standards.
- Coordinating lab orders, diagnostic testing, and referrals as directed by providers.
- Providing clear patient education as per provider orders and follow-up instructions.
- Supporting other clinic functions such as check-in/check-out when needed.
- Delivering exceptional patient care in a supportive team environment.
All clinic locations are within a 15-30 minute drive of one another. Applicants must reside within 20 minutes of one of our clinic locations.

Requirements
- Have an active CNA or CMA certification or equivalent medical background experience.
- Have a current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible and reliable with a willingness to travel as needed.
- Must pass a background check and urine drug screening.
- Active checking account for direct deposit.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
