Position Overview
Redhead Supports is hiring compassionate, reliable Direct Care Staff to support children and adults with disabilities and/or mental health needs in a residential group home setting. Staff provide hands-on daily living support, personal care, and skill-building in a safe, person-centered environment.
Available Shifts
- Day: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Evening: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
- Overnight: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- WEEKENDS MANDATORY
Responsibilities
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, meal preparation, and hygiene
- Implement individualized support plans and behavioral support plans as written
- Facilitate community outings, recreational activities, and skill-building opportunities
- Administer medications and document accurately per agency policy
- Monitor and document health, behavior, and progress
- Respond calmly and effectively to behavioral or medical situations
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming home environment
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, team members, and families
- Complete all required documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or mental health needs preferred
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with physical transfers as needed
