The Service BDC Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for many of our customers and plays a critical role in driving service retention, appointment scheduling, and customer satisfaction. This position is responsible for managing inbound and outbound customer communications while helping maximize service department opportunities.
- Answer inbound service calls and assist customers with scheduling service appointments.
- Make outbound calls to customers regarding declined services, overdue maintenance, recalls, and retention opportunities.
- Contact customers regarding appointment confirmations, reschedules, and follow-up communication.
- Monitor and respond to online appointment requests, emails, text messages, and chat inquiries.
- Assist in maintaining advisor schedules and optimizing appointment flow.
- Work closely with Service Advisors and management to identify customer needs and create positive customer experiences.
- Support dealership marketing campaigns and service promotions.
- Maintain accurate customer records and communication notes within dealership systems.
- Track customer interactions and business development activities to support departmental goals and reporting.
- Assist with customer satisfaction initiatives and service retention programs.
- Perform additional administrative and customer service duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous customer service, call center, scheduling, hospitality, retail, or automotive experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor.
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
- Experience with dealership software, scheduling systems, or CRM tools is a plus.
