Zumwalt Construction Inc. is hiring an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead commercial jobsite operations. This role oversees daily field activities, coordinates subcontractors, and ensures projects are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Manage all on-site construction activities and jobsite operations
- Coordinate subcontractors, trades, and field personnel
- Monitor schedules, budgets, and project progress
- Perform quality control inspections and ensure compliance with plans/specs
- Track materials, deliveries, and inventory
- Maintain jobsite safety and enforce Cal/OSHA standards
- Collaborate with Project Managers, architects, and engineers
- Participate in pre-construction planning and budgeting
Requirements
- 5+ years of commercial construction field experience
- Experiance with OSHPD / Hospital environments
- Superintendent or foreman leadership experience preferred
- Experience with public and/or private projects
- Procore experience required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Cal/OSHA 10 or 30 certification required
- Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings/weekends
