OVERVIEW
Perform maintenance and repair work on forklifts and material handling equipment within a fast-paced 3PL warehouse environment. Ensure equipment remains safe, reliable, and fully operational to support daily warehouse and distribution activities. Diagnose, service, and maintain mechanical and electrical components while supporting preventative maintenance efforts.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to, the following:
- Repair, maintain, and service forklift and material handling equipment (Raymond, Crown, Yale, Jungheinrich)
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using tools and diagnostic equipment
- Inspect, test, and operate equipment to ensure proper performance after repairs
- Read and interpret manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Disassemble and reassemble equipment using hand tools and hoists
- Repair or replace parts such as bearings, transmissions, hydraulic, and pneumatic components
- Perform welding, soldering, and light fabrication as needed
- Perform routine preventative maintenance including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting equipment
- Maintain parts inventory and accurate service records
- Schedule and complete routine maintenance on equipment
- Operate forklifts and other mechanized equipment as needed
- Assist or direct others during equipment assembly, disassembly, or cleaning
- Follow safe work practices while handling tools, materials, and equipment
Physical Demands:
- Frequent standing, walking, and use of hands for tools and equipment
- Regular reaching, handling, and operating equipment throughout the shift
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Frequently lift and/or move up to 51 lbs
- Requires close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
Qualifications
- 2 years of forklift or industrial equipment repair experience preferred
- Experience with sit-down, reach, order picker, and turret forklifts required
- Strong knowledge of forklift equipment required
- Must be available to work flexible shifts, including evenings or weekends if needed
- Strong organizational and time management skills required
- Must meet physical demands of a warehouse environment
- Must be able to stand, walk, climb, kneel, reach, and perform physical tasks throughout the workday
- Must be able to obtain a Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) certification

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00 per hour
